I have compiler version 1.0.0.21 which is current last time I checked.

The documentation references the i2c Write Array subVI, but I'm not finding it in the LabVIEW block diagram functions.  

What do I need to do to access this subVI?

Ach, never mind, figured out the i2C Write VI has multiple modes.  Dumb me.
