Hi.

I need to convert a "float" to an integer.  

I have tried to use LabVIEW's automatic coercion feature by wiring the float to an integer global variable, and then reading the global back again, but this seems rather contrived and inelegant and contrary to the LV data flow paradigm...

Without the LabVIEW conversion functions can anyone suggest a better solution?
