I've just noticed that Samsung have introduced a new range of Arduino Compatible hardware for IoT called the ARTIK family that looks pretty powerful.  Since it supports the Arduino IDE do you think this is something that TSXperts might look into supporting?

Hi Chris;

Yeah, I saw the Samsung ARTIK and it does look pretty nice. I went to the IoT show in San Francisco last week and Samsung was marketing it pretty strongly. The compiler product road map includes some nice additions in the future that are, for the time being, higher priority than adding support for the ARTIK. However, as always, we are continuously collecting feedback from the community as to what they would like to see included in the product. If support for the ARTIK is one those, we will include it in the road map and prioritize it based on the number of requests.

Thanks for your interest.

Filipe

Also, the ARTIK seems to be still in very early stages on the release process. In fact, I have signed up to participate in their alpha program. Cool

I believe they are still working on integrating the ARTIK as part of the Arduino IDE (though I may be wrong here).

Cheers

Yes it is in the very early days of development, but good to see you're already on top of it Filipe.

thanks Chris
