How do I extract the hex file after I finish a project?

I modify the preferences.txt in the Arduino IDE environment, the end of the line with build.path=d:\arduino\MyHexDir
After compilation and validation, the corresponding *.hex can be found, but the corresponding *.hex is not found after the Arduino Compatible Compiler for LabVIEW environment is compiled and verified. Why?
